When I create a menu, I select black as the background, but when I generate the menu, the background is white. When I view the page in ColdFusion studio, the background appears as black. When I upload the menu, the background is white again! Is this a Vista problem? IE? This never happened before. Any suggestions...besides uninstalling Vista, which I've been tempted to do!

At first I thought this was a Vista bug, but now I think it comes from IE, and cannot tell exactly why it does that, yet. Seems to happen only on some computers. You should be able to bypass this IE bug by making your background animation transparent. You will find how to make your Flash animation background transparent here :

Any comments or feedback concerning this issue would be very helpful.

I tried the Transparent, and it made the background transparent, but I hoping to get the background to be black, not white or transparent. I tried replacing the word transparent with the word black, but once again, the background appears as white. It also appears as white in Firefox, but in safari for windows, it is black. any other suggestions? can anyone tell me what color the background appears on this site: http://www.bsny.us/soafo/home.html ?
